Care.Chain: The World’s First L2 Chain Built for Healthcare 🔥
It is with great excitement that we announce the launch of Care.Chain, the first ever layer-2 chain designed for healthcare!
There are many industry ‘firsts’ with the launch of Care.Chain. It introduces a new consensus mechanism, Proof-of-Competence. It is also the first Good Actor Layer 2 chain, and much more. You can read our <blog> and <press release> for more details.
The innovative Proof-of-Competence method of validation brings compliance to blockchain in a way that meets the requirements of the healthcare industry and allows enterprises to adopt blockchain in the real world. What’s more, we have already set up live nodes that are up and running in our testnet environment, to ensure a quick and smooth rollout to the world.
While there are many existing Layer-2s out in the market, there were none that could provide us with the necessary capabilities to fully decentralize healthcare in a way that met the demands and standards of a highly regulated healthcare industry.
